Young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and/or Transgender (LGBT) people can face varied forms of discrimination in life. Relevant and appropriate information around sexuality can often be difficult for LGBT young people to access as minority sexual identities are often invisible in youth, health and education sectors.

This workshop will be delivered by the ShOut Project and participants will gain a better understanding of how a young LGBT person might feel when disclosing their sexuality, and offer those that work with and for young people the opportunity to consider practical ways of including LGBT issues within their work setting.
The ShOut Project is a YouthNet initiative and has been working since August 2005 to respond to the needs of young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and or transgender (LGBT).
