A White Paper for Rural – Realising Potential, Maximising Contribution
Rural Community Network NI’s 17th Annual General Meeting and Conference, will be hosted by Fermanagh Rural Community Network on 26 and 27 September 2008.
The conference will look at how rural communities can realise their potential and maximise their contribution to inform a Rural White Paper that will provide a robust policy framework and government commitment to building sustainable rural communities.
The conference will allow delegates to visit rural communities in Co Fermanagh and explore what difference an effective Rural White Paper can deliver for their area. The conference will welcome key stakeholders from the social and political sphere in Northern Ireland and will be attended by politicians, civil servants and members of the rural voluntary sector in England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
