The past few years has seen the development of many social enterprises. The need for sustainability in a new funding climate is prompting many voluntary and community organisations to explore engaging in 'profitable' activity.

  • What is the relationship between the Third Sector and the private sector?
  • Should the Third Sector get out of the business world - does it operate at an unfair advantage to the rest of that sector?

Speaker - Peter Quinn

Peter Quinn established Peter Quinn Consultancy Services in 1995. It operates in the public, private and voluntary and community sectors in all parts of Ireland. Peter is a director of The Quinn Group and is active in the voluntary sector.

This event is part of the Local International Learning Project which promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience between international policymakers and practitioners on a range of peace and reconciliation issues
