Event
The purpose of the regional event is to bring participants who have attended Get Heard workshops together to feed back their findings to each other and to government and policy makers.
The groups NIAPN has worked with to date include; asylum seekers and refugees, travellers, women's groups, people with a disability, community workers, sure start users and many others. The policies they have commented on range from immigration policy to the Anti-Poverty Strategy for NI, Children and Young Persons Strategy, Neighbourhood Renewal, Tax Credits and Social Security policies to name a few.
This event is an opportunity for you/your organisation to hear what issues local people have raised and to consider how to move forward collectively.
