Artistic Borders is a showcase cross-border event hosted by ADAPT bi-annually since 1999.
The 2005 event aims to:
-Increase awareness of the concept of Universal Accessibility in the Arts and Cultural sectors to encourage social inclusion for marginalised groups, particularly people with disabilities
-Identify the key issues emerging from respective experiences in the provision of disabled people's access to arts and cultural facilities and to promote best practice.
The overall aim of the day is to encourage cross- border partnerships with an understanding of accessibility in as wide a context as possible that will challenge all probabilities for change to reflect the diversity of people
