Many households in Northern Ireland live in accomodation which they rent from a private landlord. In many instances they may require help and advice on a range of issues.
This one day course will enable advisers to:
*distinguish between a tenant and a licensee;
*explain basic rights of all tenants;
*outline the obligations of tenants and landlords;
*define actions amounting to harassment and/or illegal eviction;
*describe ways in which a tenancy may come to an end, and
*have an understanding of Housing Benefits issues
