Training
Seminar designed to introduce filmmakers to the complex impact the lightweight camera and cost effective videotape have on a project, with particular emphasis on a feature film shoot intended for theatrical release. The digital production process offers many advantages to certain story material, directing and visual approaches, whilst other projects might not be suited to the new technology. Understanding the process and its various stages will allow participants to make the right decision for their projects. Analysis of examples using various visual approaches, learn to communicate what makes your digital project cinematic, use new financing tools, compare cost implications, opportunities and limitations on the shoot, choosing the right postproduction dealing with the many new opportunities but also some restrictions with special effects in the digital domain, ensuring your film is compatible with cinema distribution needs.
