Training
No experience with video is necessary. The aim is to give adults the confidence to facilitate the production of video films by children and young people. A well as introducing basic video shooting and editing skills there will be information and discussion about the other sources of help, materials, finance and equipment.
The production of video films by children and young people can have many benefits: being an outlet for artistic expression; allowing for young people to take control of an aspect of their lives; an opportunity to reflect on their position in society; a chance to make something together with others – and it is good fun too.
