Substance Misuse and Mental Health problems are often major issues for homeless people and those who work with them. This is especially the case when they are present at the same time. When such problems co- exist or people present with "complex multiple needs" this can pose a challenge to established services.

DAVID CURRAN is a consultant Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the area of addiction for more than 10 years. He is involved with the training of Clinical Psychologists and conducts research in the area of additions for QUB.
PIP BEVAN has spent 30 years working with the recovering mentally ill and homeless people, with St Mungo's, the Richmond Fellowship and was Co-ordinator of the Health and Homelessness Project with Homeless Link, London.
