This 4 day training course is designed for any fundraiser, who requires a structured introduction to fundraising, and their role within a fundraising organisation.

Run by 'The Fundraising Programme', the course designed to extend participants' knowledge and skills of the planning and practice of fundraising, and their ability to identify and address their fundraising needs. By the end of the programme, particpants will understand:

- How to establish and communicate an effective case for support
- The nature and type of research required to inform fundraising
decisions
- Donor motivation and how to develop long term donor commitment
- How to plan, organise and allocate resources for fundraising
- How to evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising
- Key legislation and the regulation of the fundraising process
- Team principles and motivation theory
