The seminar will focus on the outsourcing of innovation services across the Life Science, Pharma, Medical Devices and Diagnostics sectors. By co-operating and sharing resources where possible and building on networks of contacts and Centres of Excellence, companies can be enabled to cost effectively add value through research, innovation and customer focus. Jason Beckwith of Glasgow-based evolution Life Science will explore the challenges of developing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products and services.
Dr Neville McClenaghan, Chief Operating Officer, Diabetica Ltd will chair the seminar and provide insights into the major innovation milestones achieved by this company in looking to create value from new anti-diabetes therapies based on the architecture of gut peptide molecules. The seminar will be followed by a question and answer session and a light
lunch will also be provided. This is the third in a series of Innovations in Life & Health Sciences events which aim to create an informal environment for discussion and networking between academia, clinicians, industry, innovation service providers, investors and individuals with an interest in applying Life Science.
