This is a six day course aimed at advisers who have a working knowledge of social security benefits and who wish to represent at Social Security Appeals or improve their skills in representation.

Event
A working knowledge of social security benefits is essential.
This course will include decision-making, challenging and appealing decisions, collecting evidence, planning legal arguments, preparing a submission for a tribunal hearing and tribunal practice and procedures.
Advisers will be asked to submit written work for assessment and will also have the opportunity to particpate in mock tribunal hearings.
A Law Centre certificate will be awarded to those who successfully complete the course.
