This one day course is essential for those professionals working in the area of mental health, including those working in the homelessness field.
The delegates on the course will have an opportunity to examine all aspect of suicide and deliberate self harm including:
- who are at risk groups?
- the signs and symptoms to be aware of
- exploration of a person's perceptions and thought processes
- interviewing techniques
The tutor will explain assessment tools and will provide up-to-date research data.
