Patrick Hurst Biography
Patrick joined the Wright Group in May 2000 as General Manager of Expotech, the Export Division of the Company, which had just been established. He began to develop export markets and took the company to Europe for the first time, launching left hand drive city buses in the Netherlands, along with bus bodies as a kit to North America.
He was promoted to Vice President of Wrightbus and to the main Group Board in 2001. His responsibility was for Operations including Production, Materials, Human Resources, Quality and IT. Within the past 12 months his focus has changed to that of Engineering, Design, Planning, New Materials Research and continuing with IT.
Patrick has travelled extensively during his working life throughout Europe, North and South America and lived for a number of years in the USA.
