It is aimed at adviser and professionals who have an interest in advising on the implications of mental health legislation and case law in Northern Ireland. The course will include an overview of mental health law and related legislation, powers of compulsory detention, principal forms of mental disorders and the process and powers of the Mental Health Review Tribunal.
