Event
Participants will be helped to construct a strategy map as well as aided in the development, use and implementation of a sound scorecard for their own specific organisation to help delegates manage and measure organisational performance in an integrated manner reflective of best practice.
In response to member feedback, ACOVO and the Centre for Competitiveness are piloting a partnership to promote Quality Excellence and Performance Improvement in the third sector.
The first step in this partnership is the promotion of a pilot programme to encourage effective implementation of strategy mapping and the Balanced Scorecard within the sector. Feedback from members suggests that organisations often require experienced & tailored support in order to properly implement & achieve sound strategic management within the third sector. Organisations that have implemented this approach in the third sector have gained incredible results.
Description
For any organisation there is a fundamental imperative to be able to develop a clear strategy for its future success. The use of strategy maps and balanced scorecard enables organisations to clarify their vision and strategy and translate them into action. It provides feedback around both the internal business processes and external outcomes in order to continuously improve strategic performance and results. When fully deployed, the use of strategy maps and the balanced scorecard transforms strategic planning from an academic exercise into the driving force of an enterprise.
