Social Economy Network’s 2nd Annual Conference, Social Economy – Boom or Bust takes place on 15 February 2006 from 10.00am to 4.00pm at the Stormont Hotel, Belfast.
Keynote speakers are:
Jonathan Bland, CEO Social Enterprise Coalition
Andrew Robinson, Head of Community Development Banking, NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland
Peter Lloyd, University of Liverpool and Ecotec
A number of workshops have been arranged:
Delivering services and sustaining employment –the Social Economy Agency
Finance/funding for sustainability – Ulster Community Investment Trust
Belfast LSP Social Economy Awareness and Development Programme –Belfast Local Strategy Partnership
Social Economy Network, the future – Phase II developments – SEN Management Committee
Measuring social and community impact – recent initiatives addressing the triple
bottom line – Social Economy Agency
There will also be a trade exhibition with a video presentation of local social economy enterprises, a community arts exhibition, networking opportunities and entertainment
Cost: £25 for Network members, £35 for non members (includes lunch and refreshments)
