Supported by the Belfast City Council Neighbourhood Economic Development Programme, the initiative placed 5 University of Ulster students in the new environment of Social Economy Organisations, enabling social enterprises to access skills previously unavailable to them.
Celebrated on Social Enterprise day of Enterprise Week 2008 the event is an opportunity to acknowledge and reward those who participated and illustrate the many successes of the pilot programme in Belfast. The event will also give you the opportunity to hear about the range of other supports offered by Belfast City Council, Work West and the University of Ulster in encouraging social enterprise development.
