This event aims to provide the space for community groups working in Interface Areas, those involved in training and resources and those using community arts to share their own learning, to discuss models of good practice and explore creative approaches to community work. The conference reflects the diverse, dynamic and innovative work currently being carried out within the sector.
There will be opportunities to explore how community work can be enriched be creative means. There will also be time given to discussing the type of training and support that is needed to enable this sector to continue to develop. Some of the Training Agencies have been invited to talk about the training they offer and, more importantly, to listen to what practitioners are saying is needed.
This event also hopes to give the opportunity for community groups to showcase their own work and will provide space for displays and small presentations.
This event is organised by the Corrymeela Community Partners Projects and is open to all those working in this sector, both in a voluntary or paid capacity.
