Rural Community Network is hosting an International Women's Day event on Tuesday 8 March 2005, from 10.00am to 3.00pm at the Silverbirch Hotel Omagh.
The theme of the Conference is Celebrating Women, Exploring Diversity, Sharing Common Ground.
The event is being held during Community Relations Week. and seeks to bring together women from across the range of ethnic, social and cultural communities living in rural Northern Ireland and the border counties. It is an ideal opportunity for women to come together, to listen and talk to each other, to learn more about each other and to share their experiences of living in rural Northern Ireland and the border counties and to share hopes for the future.
Keynote speaker will be Melanie Verwoerd, South African Ambassador to Ireland.
