Go on. As the song said, put your red dress on. Wear some red lipstick. Try a red tie or red socks. But whatever you do, make it red on Friday 22 September. And then donate whatever you can to NI Chest, Heart and Stroke’s Wear Red Day appeal.
In the time it takes you to put on that red dress, somebody in the UK will have had a stroke. It happens once every five minutes. That’s 100.000 people a year. So celebrate the fact that it’s not you. And help us protect somebody else.
