The POISE 'Care To Make A Difference' programme is a free, five day pre-recruitment programme that offers an introduction to working with people with learning disabilities.

With inputs from key employers, support workers and service users, this short programme will equip participants with the knowledge to begin a rewarding career within the sector. Part of the programme is a practical work place observation which will allow participants to see the variety of roles available.

Successful participants will be guaranteed an interview with a range of employers including the Belfast HSC Trust, South Eastern HSC Trust and Positive Futures.

Travel expenses and lunch will be provided.

Monday 2nd June 08- Introduction Day
Tuesday 3rd June 08- Preparation for Placements
Week Beginning 9th June08- Work Place Observations
Friday 16th June 08- Applications and Interview Skills
