The Oriel Traditional Music Archive is a programme of archival work supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF)

We aim to preserve music originating in Oriel by capturing songs, tunes, stories and memorabilia from all the historical over-kingdom of Oriel, spanning over few modern counties. A key part of the project is the creation of a Digital Archive that will preserve and make publicly accessible the songs, tunes, stories and memorabilia contributed by participants.

The Oriel Traditional Music Archive, in collaboration with the CCG Museum Service is hosting a series of training session on Archive Work. Sessions will happen online with the exception of Collection Care which will take place in Newry at the Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail.
