FOCUS - Focusing On Community Understanding Suicide

FOCUS (Focusing On Community & Understanding Suicide) is a group of young people, that have come together with the aim of raising suicide awareness and other issues affecting young people in our community. The group was set-up in October 2012 by young people who had directly experienced the effects of suicide through the loss of family members and friends. Through their experience these young people wanted to reach out to other young people to highlight how being involved in a group like FOCUS has helped them deal with the effects of suicide and that there is support out there to help deal with issues around mental health problems.
